Privacy policy

Updated October 7, 2026 2 minute read

What data the Yumiya bot and website process, why, how long it's kept and how to ask for its deletion.

Data processed by the bot

  • Discord IDs of servers, channels, roles and users — to apply settings and assign roles.
  • Server settings configured by administrators: channels, message texts, enabled modules.
  • Activity data: XP and levels, balances, reputation, streaks, birthdays, marriages and invites — created by members through commands.
  • Moderation history: warnings and punishments with their reasons.
  • Message text is kept only in the bot’s memory and only on servers where an administrator enabled the deleted-message log. It is never written to disk and is dropped within 12 hours.

Data processed by the website

  • Your language, theme and cookie consent — see the cookie policy.
  • When you sign in to the dashboard: your username, avatar and server list from Discord.
  • Website verification (captcha). If a server uses verification on the website, you sign in with Discord so the bot knows whom to give the roles to. The code from the picture is stored only as a hash for 10 minutes and is deleted after the check.
  • To prevent abuse, the server briefly keeps track of request IP addresses.

Why we need it

Data is used only to run the bot and dashboard features: applying settings, awarding XP and coins, assigning roles, moderation logs and statistics visible to server administrators.

Retention and deletion

Server data is kept while the bot is on the server or while modules need it. Incident history on the status page is kept for 14 days. To have your data deleted, contact us on the support server and we’ll remove it.

Security

Only the bot and the website can access the database. Connections are encrypted (HTTPS), requests are rate-limited and dashboard sessions are protected from forged requests.
